DESREE JENNINGS is a woman “convinced that a flu shot given to her has lead to a rare disorder which means she can only walk backwards”. Video in article.
I couldn't find more reputable sources for this, and it's not really about the flu, but the predicament itself is heartwrenching.

I f**king hate this "news" story. They are treating her like a circus freak. They should treat her like she is a normal person. This SHOULD NOT deter you from getting a flu shot. This is an isolated case.
