There seems to be a new fad of pregnant women flaunting their nude or semi-nude bodies all over. I've seen it all over teh intewebz, had friends email me their 'artistic' pics - some are artistic, some have a LOT to learn about photography and art! - and I've seen it in ads in magazines.
Which is all fine, they are just bodies after all, but will these pregnant women in just a few years turn into the rabid anti-nude mothers who want to protect their precious from the horrors of other bodies? Then I'm not okay with it.
I also don't get why a nude pregnant woman's picture is considered artistic but my or any other girl's nude picture would be considered just risqu or pornographic etc. Meh.

I think it definitely depends on how the nude, non pregnant, women are portraying themselves. It would be the same with pregnant women. Most of the images I see of naked women, on the internet, are not portraying themselves in an artistic way.
I remember a photo of Brittany Spears, that was in a magazine, where she was wearing just a long sweater and high heels. She got so much flack for it because she was nude. I think it was a gorgeous photo.
This woman is not showing nipples or vagina, she is showing form. It's not worse than a small bikini.

But she is showing nipples in it.
Heck, even use the cropped image Suebe used as the theme pic here. If she was not pregnant, it would likely be flagged as NSFW and removed/changed. Since she's pregnant, it's okay??
I just don't like the double standard.
I guess I should add that I really don't care that her facebook account was shut down over it. She'd been warned, after all!

I'm sorry, but I got stuck on the part saying she previously received warnings about a photo of herself backflipping out of the vagina of a giant female statue....

Maybe I'm alone, but I love photos of the pregnant female form. I have always thought it was rather beautiful.

I think that tasteful photos of a pregnant female are beautiful. But do they have a place on Facebook? No. It's in the terms and conditions when you sign up, and she's already had multiple warnings. Where's the story here?

"I think people are terrified of the vagina or something." Curran says. "It's the human body! We all have one."
For a second there I thought she was talking about all humans having a vagina.
On the subject: I don't get why people can get so upset over Facebook.

I actually don't want those photos on Facebook. Facebook is not the place for porn. You can go to any smut site if you want to see that stuff.
